The graphic shape of LSA’s Metropole tumblers was inspired by the Brutalist architecture of the 1950’s.

The glasses are made from mouth blown by master glassblowers to create the graphic silhouette and thick disc shaped base and the rim is then fire polished to achieve a smooth finish.

Presented in a branded gift box the LSA Metropole tumblers would make a lovely gift.

LSA International design and create contemporary, handmade glassware from their London-based studio. Co-founded in the 1960s by Janusz Lubkowski, today the company’s Designer & Creative Director is his daughter, Monika Lubkowska-Jonas. LSA’s first ever product was a classic enamelled coffee pot, which sold in Terence Conran’s Habitat stores. Then and now, LSA International is committed to original design, quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Monika continues her father’s vision and works to ensure that the company’s heritage is reflected in the provenance of their products.
